Dried ovoid “turtle” shaped black organic beans. Once soaked and cooked the beans will be swollen but should retain distinctive shape. Taste: typical bland, wholesome flavour, with no off flavours or taints. Texture: after soaking and cooking the bean should be tender but firm, breaking down progressively on chewing. Colour: black.
